Bright and early this morning, the moving guys arrived at my new little flat. It was super entertaining (and slightly harrowing) to watch them bring my stuff up through the windows! Sadly, I was unable to get a photo of me sitting on the sofa hanging out the window---Sumreen told me if I could get that shot she'd give me $100 and a bottle of champagne....alas!
In other news, the number of retirement announcements I've received from the home office in Detroit today is kinda making me feel a little maudlin...my very first boss is retiring, along with a handful of other folks that I just think the world of and who have made going to work fun and rewarding.
