How does your garden grow?

One of my sweet colleagues brought me fresh rhubarb, raspberries, and currents from her garden at home. She lives with her family in a village outside of Brussels and from what I can tell, it sounds like a mini-paradise. When I first arrived here, she brought in some eggs from their chickens!

Maybe I can find time to bake a pie this weekend....too bad my new friend Fiona, baker-extraordinaire, is still out of town...she would know exactly what to do with this bounty.

Aww, you're such a sweetie! I miss you! Back on Sunday evening - maybe I'll make it to The Well...

Rhubarb crumble. Absolutely one of the best British desserts ever. :)

And raspberries would make the perfect addition. I'll see if I can dig out a recipe since I'm at home and have my mum's huge library of books/cards to go through!
