It occurs to me that I've yet to introduce any of the great folks crossing my path in Brussels. No time like the present...so how about we start with Shannon.
I've mentioned The Well--the community of crazy (in a good way) Jesus followers that I've connected with here. Shannon and her husband are two of the people who help keep it all together.
Turns out today is Shannon's birthday, so it seems like a perfect opportunity to give her a big birthday shout out and also share a few things that make her super cool.
1) She went to Keukenhof--a.k.a. The Disneyland of Tulips--twice this year.
2) She may or may not have put a gnarly looking lizard in a mean girl's sleeping bag at camp one summer.
3) She writes great devotions that are fun to read, not cheesy, and make you think.
4) She speaks her mind, but doesn't force her opinion.
5) She serves and loves with ease.
6) She makes yummy coleslaw.
You get the idea....and I hardly even know her!
Happy Birthday Shannon! May your day, and your heart, be filled with joy as big as the sound of the bells of Westminster!
