Rebekah, Jon and I went to St. Andrew’s Hall last night to see Rodrigo y Gabriela, a guitar duo from Mexico via Ireland. It is unreal the music they can create with just two guitars.
Years had passed since I’d seen a show at St. Andrew’s. Lots of good memories there—shows with Rachel and Tracey back in the day. And the summer during college when Drea drove to town from Chicago to see Shane MacGowan (a show she stills owes me for!)
Last night’s show was a blast. The crowd was a diverse group; young metal heads to middle-aged music aficionados and everything in-between. No surprise, RodGab put on an incredible show. If they’re coming to a town near you, check them out!
