Sometimes I have to wonder...

How did I get here? Just got home after spending 24 hours in Amsterdam visiting with some friends from Detroit. It was fun to see familiar faces, and I had to keep reminding myself that I was seeing them in Amsterdam...

And with the same ease that I dropped briefly back into their lives, I felt a happy homecoming when the train pulled in Brussels tonight.
