A notre amitie*

My friend Sumreen was kind enough to spend her Memorial Day weekend with me in Brussels. We've spent the last 3 days giggling, sightseeing and choco-crawling (a technical term.)

It's been so fun to have a dear friend in town to explore Belgium with me. We've laughed at the fact that when I visited her in Paris in November, we had no idea I'd been joining her on the continent several months later.

It has been such a blessing to know that Sumreen is just a couple hours aways. It's also been a gift to expand our growing list of travel tales. And mostly just to have the time to invest in our friendship.

Tonight I had the chance to share some of my faith with Sumreen in a new way. At first I was nervous, but she reminded me that if we're going to be old, close friends, then we have to be willing to understand the stuff that defines us. Well said, as always.
