When I saw this display at the Cluny Museum on Friday, it helped me imagine just how strong and protective the armor of God—the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of the gospel of peace, a shield of faith, a helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit—is when we’re wearing it.

Armor
Over the past month at The Well*, we’ve been talking about putting on the armor of God and standing in His power as explained in Ephesians 6. In these verses of the Bible, we are reminded that God has not left us ill-equipped to be voices of hope in the world and stand up to evil. In fact, He has provided us with the tools and protection necessary to stand firm.

*The Well is the Christian community God has connected me with here in Brussels.
