Three years already?

Wow! Three years ago right now I was visiting Sumreen in Paris, France and we spent Thanksgiving weekend in Madrid, Spain.

Can't resist taking a trip down memory lane! We look so young.

There was the big strike in Paris. Not to mention the stinky cheese. And the silliness at Chartres (and the scolding!). Plus, the miracle of actually getting to Madrid----not many can boast of crossing a 3-lane traffic circle in Paris rush hour.

That last photo was on the way to the plane from Madrid, back to Paris in the wee-hours of the morning, where upon landing I hopped a flight back to Detroit.......all the while thinking I'd never be in Europe again. Ahhh....the places you'll go! Hah! God is funny.
