The Elements of Style

I've been lazy about writing lately...and not just on this blog. Well, not totally lazy...in some ways, I'm writing more than ever, but not the thoughtful, worked and re-worked kind of writing about everything and nothing that is a joy to write (and a joy to read?).

Last night, post-Thanksgiving feast, I pulled my The Elements of Style book off the shelf; it's the illustrated version, which makes reading about when to use a colon an afternoon delight.

It's probably too early for New Year's resolutions, so I won't. I do, however, aspire to get back on the writing train.
