It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

We got a big blast of winter magic on Sunday and now the City is blanketed in white stuff. It was a perfect day for a snow day. I took the opportunity to put my little Christmas tree up. And its warm glow is already making me so happy—I hope it also brings a little Christmas love to the many folks who trudge past our building.

Of course, my little tree has nothing on the big Detroit Christmas tree in Campus Martius.
In an effort to avoid cabin fever yesterday, some friends picked me up and we traipsed around the downtown bookstore for a bit. It was a double bonus to see the beautiful tree in the snow.
