I don't know about the rest of you, but this is shaping up to be one of the longest weeks in history. Is it really only Wednesday?
Last night I felt like a student who, after cramming for a week, finds out her final exam is cancelled. My guitar teacher likes to get his students together to play for each other every few months. Don't get me wrong--it's great experience and everyone is honest in their critiques, but in the kindest, most supportive way possible. We were supposed to play together on Saturday, but it has to be rescheduled. Yahoo! Memorizing Packington's Pound can wait for another day.
This morning we had a conference call at 6 AM that I took from home. I thought I'd crawl back in bed for a minutes afterwards, but ended up eating breakfast, emptying the dishwasher, writing a few more Christmas cards, and watching a few minutes of Good Morning America while pretending to do pilates (read: laid on floor and watched GMA.) All before work. Even had time to stop at my favorite little organic bakery for a double espresso and vegan almond spice cookie.
Again forcing the question...why don't I always get up early? Am I wasting an hour or two a day in the name of sleep? Maybe over Christmas break, I'll attempt to reset my internal clock?

It's only Wednesday, but one of the best Fridays of 2007 is at the end of this week, and we'll be there before we can say pass the hot cocoa.
Pass 4 cups of hot chocolate in my case! teehee
