I have your blog on my google reader and love to read some of your thoughts. Sometimes I can hear you saying them, and today I did hear you saying them. It made me smile to hear your voice. When I heard you mention hoping in your vlog I was reminded of the tension of hope. I thought how its the first advent candle as we prepare our hearts to celebrate Jesus' birth. When we talked about hope a couple of weeks ago at church my pastor mentioned that everybody wants hope. We all like the idea of it, but really we can only hope for things we haven't yet received. As such hope is necessarily born out of waiting and yearning. I like this thought (and didn't like it at the same time). I love knowing that we serve an amazing God who is more than worthy of our hope. However, sometimes I tire of the tension of waiting. I'm thinking of you and praying for you as you wade through hope and waiting. Love you.
