Love it when different conversations come together to make a whole...........last week, a friend asked me something like 'do you feel like it's getting harder or like the hard part is already behind you?' I quickly replied, 'ahhh...obviously, the hard part is behind me...' Wondering what kind of stupid question that was....what could be harder than some of the stuff God and I have walked through the past few years---I mean, seriously! I'm not complaining---it's been amazing growth and lots of fun adventures and even in its messiest moments, I wouldn't trade it for anything (mostly!).....but the hardest part must be behind me, right? Then today over lunch, a different friend said, 'of course it is going to get harder....the further you go, the deeper you go, the more committed you are....of course it is going to get harder....'
sorta a relief. sorta are you kidding me?
either way, something to think about...
