Several years ago, I commissioned a poem on the subject of bacon from dear writer friend, Lizard. (Why bacon? Bacon was my gateway drug, pushing me out of 9 years as a vegetarian!)
On Saturday, I had a chance to spend some quality time with Liz and she presented me with said poem. The timing (and the meaning) couldn't be more perfect. (Relax, I'll post the poem next.)
