Don't Try this at Home

I’m pretty fearless. Okay, not really. But I am pretty fearless when it comes to doing things in Detroit. This morning I decided to take the PeopleMover to the office…nothing too scary about that, unless you can’t find the station and end up winding around, down and through the bowels of Cobo Arena. Once I found my way to a street, I should have just walked to the office, but wanted to finish what I started…Anyway…I called my Mom at one point as I wandered in the bottom of Cobo because I wanted someone to be able to trace my steps if I disappeared. She said ‘Jodi, you lived in Europe for almost two years and never once called me because you were scared…why are you afraid in your own hometown?’ What can I say…ignorance is bliss.
