Nooooo....say it isn't sooooooooooo!

I was fortunate to have 'just another weekend in Paris' with Sumreen. Every time the train pulls into Gare du Nord, a smile creeps across my face.  When I visited Sumreen in November 2007, I was 99% sure I'd never be in Paris again.  It's so funny to look back at those pictures---I had no idea what was coming for me....probably would have been hard-pressed to find Belgium on a map, but I digress.  Now I've seriously lost track of how many times I've been to my home-away-from-home-away-from-home, Paris.  This last weekend was a little bittersweet, as Sumreen returns to the States next week. Nooooo....say it isn't so...that's what we're saying here with our best French faces:

We had such a fun time, as always, over the weekend.  On Saturday, we went shopping all day. It was such silly goodness...starting with sitting next to Maggie Gyllenhall and family at brunch on Saturday morning, then browsing through every boutique in St. Germain before a relaxed dinner on Ile St. Louis.

It's hard to believe her 2-year tour is up already.  But how thankful I am for all the fabulous adventures we have shared over the past couple years. Of course, even better has been having a dear friend just 90 minutes away....and in the same timezone for long phone chats.  I'm so blessed by your friendship, Sumreen....and by all the laughter, tears and freak-outs we've shared...and for all the good times to come.  Bon voyage. Bon courage!
