This cartoon posted on the Jesus Creed blog reminded me of my own plunge into the almost-as-cold Detroit River back in April 2006. Don’t let the sunshine and blue skies fool you. It was COLD! As I recall, the temperature was in the high 30's (around 3 degrees Celsius for my Euro friends) and it was so windy there were white caps on the river. I wouldn’t have changed anything about that day; however, I probably still owe Steve & Beau for braving the chilly waters with me!
