Well, either way, just wanted to check in. I'm not quite ready to come back to full-time blogging yet. Mostly because I've got some ideas in the works that are still awaiting input from my creative consultants. So, stay tuned!
But all is well. The holidays were a lot of fun here in Brussels. Nice to have Mom for a visit...and to also have lamps, vacuum cleaner and proper coffee maker to show for it! Also really fun to have time to hang out with friends, watch many West Wings and just be here in Brux.
So far, so good for the new year too! It's good to get my pilates game back on...and it's like a two-for-one as my teacher will switch between french and english just to keep things interesting (as if finding my core muscles didn't require every ounce of concentration I have!). Of course, in exchange, I'm helping her with her english--teaching her important words like "scooch."
French lessons are cruising along too....tonight we had a lot of fun with counting. Sept cent nonante-douze. (I'll leave you with that little puzzle!)
Things are good, friends. I mean, who knows what's coming, but that just might be okay. You want to know why? Cuz we can live carefree before God because He is most careful with us.
