When this blog started, I was super nostalgic for friends from over the years who, while far away geographically, are near and dear to my heart.
These days I’m big into recognizing the gift of the friends near both geographically and to my heart.
Conversations and hang-out time with friends in the area this week—friends who just five years ago, two years ago, two months ago were but strangers in the universe—reminded me again to pinch myself.
Sometimes it takes the thought of leaving your community to recognize just what an amazing group of folks surround you.
