In the house...

Last week was a bit of a....err.....challenge? Not only for me, but probably for most people who came into contact with me too. (Sorry if that was you!) I was tired. I was cranky. I was....well, enough said.

Even so, the week was filled with all sorts of goodness that I chalk up to God's sweetness and wild sense of humor.

Highlights:
  • hopping on a trampoline in an old abandoned Jesuit church with a group of under-privileged children,
  • stopping at my new favorite cafe one evening and chatting with the bartender, Pablo, who actually smiled (SMILED!) when I said I was from Detroit, and then said 'I love Detroit music...',
  • amazing, unexpected, concert that combined the words of James Baldwin, with the soul of some jazz sound,
  • good times on the ropes courses at Adventure Parc with Well staff team, especially every time I used the tree as a brake,
  • showing up at the wrong place, but making friends with strangers, like breadcrumbs left along a path, who showed me the way to the right place,
  • frites, sunset, and a groovy chat with a friend in the Grand Place,
...and the beat goes on!
