This photo of me on the carnival swings in Paris captures how I've been feeling lately and here's why....in case I haven't had a chance to tell you myself, well, it looks like my time in Brussels will be extended by about 3 years. In fact, when I saw my 'repatriation' date today--September 2011--it sorta made me catch my breath...especially when Andrea and Maureen reminded me of just how old I'd be then (thanks guys!). The point is that it feels a little crazy...a lot out of control...totally exciting...and beyond my own understanding. But my hands are up and I'm trusting the adventure will bear fruit pointing to something bigger than myself.
